Students at Our Lady of the Way learn from a team of professional and supportive teachers.

Our teachers are highly skilled and passionate about providing the best learning opportunities for every student. Our commitment to best teaching and learning practice is supported by an extensive professional development program for all staff.

Teachers at OLOW are lifelong learners themselves so they know what it takes to develop a love of learning. They meet each student where they are on their learning journey, and challenge and support them to become the best learner they can be. OLOW provides students with a high quality education that prepares them for their future.

It is the quality of our teachers that makes all the difference.

Education at Our Lady of the Way Primary is based on developing and nurturing the whole child in the Catholic tradition in order for the students to become lifelong learners who interact positively with others and with the world around them.

Our educational belief is founded on enabling all children to learn: how to be; how to think; how to choose; how to learn; how to relate. We celebrate the value and individuality of each person and hope to develop young people who will go on to make a real difference in our world.

We acknowledge the importance of parent partnership within our community. Parents are our companions on the journey, as their sons and daughters experience a quality Catholic education and a sense of belonging at Our Lady of the Way

Our Lady of the Way sits at the foothills of the Blue Mountains and this sense of tranquillity and peace is evident within the school amongst students, parents, teachers and staff. It is a very inviting and welcoming community for all and is a place of celebration.

It is an environment where all can flourish irrespective of where people are at in their educational journey and where all can feel a sense of belonging. Our Lady of the Way recognises the uniqueness of every individual and strives to share the gifts that each person brings to the culture of our school community.
