Principal's Message

Welcome to the website for Our Lady of the Way Primary School, Emu Plains. I trust you will enjoy your visit.

Whether you are a student, parent, parishioner, friend, grandparent, ex-student or a colleague in education, I hope you will explore our website to get a deeper sense of what life is like at OLOW. Our parish and school motto has great significance to our faith and learning community. We aim to put into practice the Catholic beliefs and values that are at the very core of our faith.

This is the only thing that God asks of you:
To act justly,
To love tenderly,
And to walk humbly with our God.
(Micah 6:8)

We aim to foster a school environment that recognises the unique learning path that each child takes. By providing a rich array of stimulating learning experiences we give our students every possible opportunity to:

  • learn how to be
  • learn how to think
  • learn how to choose
  • learn how to learn
  • learn how to relate

Our school values the support of parents. We hope that together we build a sense of warmth and welcome as we go about our work of helping our students to learn and to grow. The parish and school work very closely together, with strong spiritual and moral support always present from our parish priest and pastoral council.

Our programs encompass the needs of the whole child and focus on equipping our students with the skills they will need to face the challenges of living in a rapidly changing and dynamic world.

Thank you for visiting our website and please come by again some time!
